I think back to quiet suburban nights, high school cliques, and Imo’s pizza.
My initiation into art began during weekly classes in pencil, ink, and watercolor. It was put on hold in preference of dance, tutoring and debate.
In Washington, DC…
I developed a bougie taste for clothing and a passion for impact investing during college.
I loved Georgetown brownstones, waterfront sunsets, and monument picnics.
I started drawing every day, every night, working from charcoals to watercolor to acrylic.
In NYC…
There are endless possibilities.
My current inspiration: e.e. cummings - in addition to being my favorite poet of all time, he was also a talented artist who worked with Picasso.
